Will I need to keep it up to date?

Yes. Review new entries and mark food as you use or bin it. With Plus, tapping Done on the final Cook Mode step also updates matched pantry quantities. iGarde does not continuously watch your kitchen.

What happens if I choose AI?

Receipt OCR happens on your iPhone. Optional receipt cleanup sends text to Anthropic in the United States. Visual AI sends chosen photos or selected still frames; the original video and audio are not sent. The app asks for permission first. Read the privacy policy.
